Yesterday was “International Human Rights Day” and today the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) need YOU to help in the fight against hate crime in Ireland.
ENAR have set up a petition to get the Irish Government to recognise racist crime in Irish legislation. We are calling on you to sign it and show your belief that racism must be fought. Click here to get to the petition, then click in the yellow box on the right hand side of the screen to add your name to the list.
Spread the Word! Tell your friends to sign the Petition too – email them, share it with them by Facebook, Twitter or however you choose.
Together we shall send a strong message to the Irish Government that racist crime will not be tolerated in Irish society and they must do something to address it, as a matter of urgency. 75% of racist incidents reported to us involve racist violence or crime. Your solidarity lets victims of racist crime know that they are not alone, that there is a majority of people who support them and are not prepared to be silent on this issue any longer.
