The Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership (KRSP) have organised a special walk through Killarney National Park taking place on Saturday 14th April at 11am, starting from the front of Muckross House. Registration is from 10:00am, costing €2 per adult (free for children). There are two routes, 5km and 10km, and refreshments will be provided. Regular walking can improve one’s health in a variety of ways so if you feel the need for some exercise why not come along?
The KRSP is an initiative of the Irish Sports Council dedicated to getting more people participating in physical activity in Kerry. They work with local agencies and sporting organisations across the county, running programmes that target a wide variety of groups (e.g. older adults, disabled people, unemployed people etc). Considering the clear significance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle it is well worth checking out their website to see if any of their projects would appeal to you.
